First, our experienced technicians carefully shut down the pool pump and close all relevant valves. Next, we remove the filter's top or lid to access the sand chamber. Using specialized tools, we gently scoop out the old sand, taking care not to damage the filter laterals at the bottom. We meticulously inspect these laterals for any signs of damage and replace them if necessary. Once the old sand is removed and the laterals are checked, we add new filter sand of the appropriate grade, ensuring proper filtration efficiency. After refilling the sand chamber, we reassemble the filter, restart the pump, and perform a thorough backwash to remove any residual debris.
